WiSE is pleased to be sponsoring two tables for the Bouchet Society Ida Stephens Owens Black Tie Dinner on December 6th from 5:30-9pm at the Searle Center. The dinner is named in honor of the first African American female to earn her PhD here at Duke, as well as the first to receive her PhD in the sciences here. This year we are fortunate to have Dr. Carmichael Roberts whom currently serves on Duke's Board of Trustees and is a General Partner at North Bridge Venture Partners as our Keynote speaker.
